Zambian Elections
Crazy Hat Lady! Check out this outfit put together with the help of Makara. We were too lazy to go upstairs to get stuff that matched so we pieced this together with what was downstairs. We were on our way out for a walk.

MiaYou may have heard about the Zambian presidential elections if you watch the news or check the international edition of cnn.com. It looks like the current president is to win. There was a strong backing for one of his opponents and apparently they have sparked some riots around Lusaka. We stayed close to home this weekend and weren't aware of the riots until we were told by a friend and read more about it online. We definitely saw more of a police presence since the election on Thursday, as the President was anticipating some backlash in case of his win. His opponent, Sata, is to have said that he admires Mugabe, the dictator of neighboring Zimbabwe, who kicked white farmers off their land and has ruined the economy. Needless to say, we are glad he didn't win.
Tonight the twins have officially moved into their own room and into separate cribs. They had been sleeping in the same crib in our room. They are just about too big to be sharing a crib and we decided to see if maybe they sleep longer in another room. Wish us luck. Here are some of the latest pictures.
