The Chronicles of Jacob and Mia (and their mom and dad)

Formerly Jimmy and Melissa's New Adventures

This past weekend we went to a lodge on Lake Kariba, a very large man made lake. The Zambezi was dammed in the 60's to provide hydroelectric power and thus the lake was formed. We had a great time. There was an excellent kids' section in the pool that Mia could walk around in confidently (Jacob could too but not so confidently). They loved playing with their toys in the water and making motor sounds with their lips. One night we went on a sunset cruise on a gigantic house boat. It was Mia's and Jacob's first official African sunset.

Jacob blowing bubbles.

Mia motoring her truck.

Oh what a great family vacation! The kids are now kids- no more babies in your family- they are all grown up! I love Jacob's scooting footage- so hilarious! I miss you!
