So Mia and Jacob are just about 13 lbs. They both rolled over last week and are "talking" up a storm. Mia is beginning reach and hold onto things. Grace keeps trying to teach her to put her paci in her mouth! She also really enjoys being seated upright and checking out the world that way. Like Jacob, she smiles easily now and we can get her to giggle.

It has been VERY hot here, unbearable actually. As a result, we've taken a step backward in the sleep department. Mia has been waking up a lot and is difficult to put to sleep. She still needs to be swaddled at night to sleep well, but because it has been so hot, we haven't been doing that. During the day, their naps have been very short naps because of the heat. They take dips in the plastic pool 2-3 times a day and we have been going to big pool at least once a day. They love the water!!! I wonder if it is because of all the baths I took when I was pregnant!! On the plus side, Jacob has been waking up just once a night!!! There might be a light at the end of this sleep deprived tunnel!!
