Jen, Lena and Paul showed up in Zambia for our last weeks here. I snuck away with them to South Luangwa National Park, which is a gem for viewing animals. It was amazing. We saw lions, a leopard, elephants, hippos, giraffe, tons of birds, impala, waterbuck and the list goes on. Here are some highlights.
Enjoying sundowners while watching the sunset.

We came upon a lion kill the first night we were these. The pride had killed a zebra. This is what was left the next day. It's the circle of life.

The elusive male lion.

This was my chalet. Look at the hippos right outside of it!

Great pics! I'm sure this must be an emotional time. It will be great to have you closer, and hopefully we can climb and hang out again once you are settled in CO. We are just a short drive away.
