Labor Day Weekend

We headed up to one of our favorite climbing spots this weekend, Wild Iris in Lander, Wyoming. We camped with our friends, Lisa and Jon and their daughter Ella, who is just a month older. Jacob and Mia were great on the drive up, having pillow fights in the back seat and finally falling asleep. Overall they did well campinng, considering it was cold and they were back in their Pack and Play cribs after being in their big kid beds for a few weeks now. They loved being outside and watching us climb, most of the time. We ended up cutting the weekend short due to bad weather. The pics below show our weekend.

Jacob and Mia love making roads and driving their cars, trucks and trains on the Zambian blocks, (designed and made by our amazing former colleague, Charles Barr, who left teaching this year to pursue her craftiness.)
Drumming

This is an awesome pool in Broomfield

Jacob and Jimmy on the slide. This is the toddler slide but there are proper water slides at this pool and Jacob and Mia loved going down them on our laps. Didn't get any pics of that : (

Car camping at its best!
